What You'll Do
  • Sip on wine as you watch the sun set spectacularly over Uluru
  • Watch as the colors of the rock gradually change before your eyes
  • Take some of the most amazing photographs of your life
Travel from Ayers Rock Resort to the Uluru sunset-viewing area. Enjoy nibbles and a complimentary glass of wine as the sun sinks over the western horizon and the evening sky brings out the many spectacular shades of color for which Uluru is famous.
What to Expect
Sit back and relax as you travel into the amazing Uluru, or the Kata Tjuta National Park. Arguably Australia’s most recognizable and fascinating icon, Uluru (Ayers Rock) stands 348 meters high, but most of its mass is found below ground level. As you drive, enjoy the amazing surrounds and incredible sights of Uluru in the distance, overwhelmed by its incredible size, presence and inherent spirituality.

Once at Uluru, visit the sites of Kata Tjuta, also known as the Olgas. This incredible formation of rock domes extends 6 kilometers into the ground and is the remains of an erosion that began more than 500 million years ago. From here, continue on to the sunset-viewing area, where you will served from a selection of Australian wines and nibbles while you begin to absorb the beauty of your surroundings. Find your ideal stop, and then just sit back and relax as you watch the sun disappear behind the horizon and change the colors of the rocks in a million splendid ways as it does.
