The text we received acknowledging the booking gave clear instructions where to meet our guide. We were met with a pleasant smile and welcome, and it just got better. Alfred knows a lot about York and it’s history. We enjoyed the tour, which covered a small area of the city (not too much walking) and highly recommend it as an excellent and fun way to see York’s central historical sights.

Really enjoyed the tour, our guide was engaging and fun and you get to taste your way through it. I really loved how interactive it is and it suits all ages. My daughter went there on a school trip and enjoyed it so much she wanted to go again on our visit to York. Don't miss out on the history of chocolate that is part of York's past and present.

Our guide was friendly and knowledgeable and showed us places off the beaten track that we would otherwise have missed. Some of these places and buildings we returned to after the walk had finished. Very enjoyable and I would recommend this Guided walk to any visitors to this amazing city.

It was a great experience overall. Interesting stories about Yorkshire and beautiful photo stops along the way. Everything went smoothly and we had enough time at every stop. The North York Moors are very beautiful and have a rich history. This trip is definitely worth it!

Our guide JJ had a great deal of knowledge about many other subjects which corroborated and enriched our understanding about Yorkshire. We found him informative and amusing which greatly enhanced our day trip around the dales.
