This had potential to be such a lovely cruise - no fault of the operators that it poured rain about 2 minutes before we got onboard, and continued to rain lightly through much of the cruise. The operators were good, let us onboard early to get out of the rain, and kept us entertained with their commentary and good humour. It was lovely onboard with individual tables set up for couples and small groups. I did enjoy the views despite the rain!! Easy to find location too.

A fantastic boat tour of York! Despite having visited the city hundreds of times, I've never taken a boat tour. Even though I know York very well, it was a brilliant experience to see the city from a new perspective. The skipper was really knowledgeable and shared many fascinating insights along the journey. It was a very relaxing ride and a love that umbrellas were on hand when we experienced a brief shower! A fantastic experience whether it is your first visit to York or you've grown up in the area - highly recommend!

This was a very sweet and gentle cruise with a helpful guide, but my expectation was a bit more of a party boat, I booked as a hen do group for a drink and cruise before we went out and it was more a slow gentle family day trip than an evening cruise with bar. There was a bar but not quite what I expected. Still very nice and lovely views of York from the river Ouse but if you want a drink and a celebration it’s not quite the right environment for that,
