Very happy with the tour and show. Our guide and driver, Budi, arrived on time and explained everything clearly. We were very lucky to get an upgrade on our tickets and we watched the performance from better seats. The show itself is a must see, we loved the story, the performances of the artists and the stanging. Seeing the temple at night was also quite special. 100% recommended :)

1. Ramayana Ballet
This performance tells the epic story of Ramayana, a classic legend from India portrayed through dance, music, and elegant movements. Often performed at the open-air stage of Prambanan with the majestic temple as its backdrop, this ballet depicts heroic battles, the deep love between Rama and Sita, and the struggle against evil and injustice. It captivates not only visually but also conveys profound moral messages and cultural values.
2. Roro Jonggrang Ballet
This ballet narrates the legendary Indonesian tale of Princess Roro Jonggrang, who asked Bandung Bondowoso to build 1,000 temples overnight as a condition for marriage. With the help of supernatural beings, Bandung nearly completed the task, but Roro Jonggrang tricked him to ensure his failure. Enraged, Bandung cursed her to become the final statue in the unfinished temples.
