My guide was Nasir and he was an excellent guide. He was very kind, patient, knowledgeable, and a good driver. Nasir speaks English and we chatted in the car and in between activities. He is curious about other cultures and we had a great time discussing about Indonesia and the rest of the world. Nasir does everything to make sure his client is comfortable, including making unplanned stops and asking for feedback on his services. I highly recommend using Nasir for your next tour in Jogya or other parts of Java. Prambanan temple is wonderful as well, of course!

I took the sunset tour of Prambanan (same day as I did sunrise at Borobudur). My guide Widi picked me up from my hotel mid-afternoon and we took the relatively short journey to the temple. Widi was really helpful, giving plenty of background on the history of the temple and the story its carvings told, plus plenty of background on Java and Indonesia. Prambanan itself is nothing short of stunning, and the light at sunset was beautiful. For me, here and Borobudur are on a par with any man-made sight I’ve seen - huge, awe-inspiring and beautiful. I stayed on for the Ramayana ballet afterwards, so Widi drove me to a local restaurant inbetween the two tours, where I got some great fish. Highly recommended tour and Widi is a highly recommended guide.

Widi is the best guide I've ever had, anywhere. His English is great, and his manner open and friendly. I also walk with a cane when covering long distances. Indonesia is not a very handicapped friendly place, but Widi helped me get around and enjoy the sites to the best of my ability. Truly a 5 out of 5 star guide!
