We had an excellent trip to the Borobudur temple thanks to our driver Atok. Atok is more than just a driver. He speaks very good English which made our communication much easier and more enjoyable. He knows a lot about his country and about Borobudur, and answered all our questions exhaustively. He is passionate about guiding, cheerful and easy-going. We were so happy with the service he provided that we immediately asked for him for our trip the following day. Highly recommended! By the way, in the temple itself you are accompanied by local guides licensed to work only in the temple, ours was ok.
