Full description
Be picked up from your hotel and travel to Borobudur temple to witness the breathtaking sunrise views. Here you have the option to hire a local guide and learn about the history of the area. You will arrive in Borobudur around 5:00 AM, take the chance to explore Borobudur temple for three hours. Borobudur is one of world's truly great ancient monuments, the single largest Buddhist structure anywhere on earth.
After visiting Borobudur, you will travel for 1.5 - 2 hours to Prambanan. Spend 2 hours exploring Prambanan. This temple was built in the tenth century, this is the largest temple compound dedicated to Shiva in Indonesia. See the three temples decorated with reliefs illustrating the epic of the Ramayana, dedicated to the three great Hindu divinities (Shiva, Vishnu and Brahma) and three temples dedicated to the animals who serve them.
After finish exploring Prambanan, you will head back to your hotel, you have the option to stop for lunch on the journey back. You will be back at hotel around 1:00 or 2:00 PM.
