Great Guide ! Wedi was a true professional ! Very articulate and clear in his explanations of history Of the area, he was helpful in all ways ! Consequently The tour was made complete , the sunrise was incredible , the timing was perfect , there was only 18 other people so it was majestic !

I took the sunrise option for Borobudur. My guide, Widi, was really great - he gave me loads of background about the history of Java and the temple on the way there, and some really useful tips about how to tour the temple itself. Borobudur itself is nothing short of astonishing - beautiful and huge - and I had plenty of time to look round before taking breakfast at the end of the tour. It was an early start (03:30) but I was back at the hotel by 10, so got a decent rest before taking in both Prambanan and the Ramayana ballet later the same day. I’d recommend the tour and absolutely recommend Widi as a guide too.

We did the Borobudur Sunrise and Prambanan Sunset tours in the same day with the same driver. Overall was good, he got us to and from our destinations and dealt w the tickets. Didn’t really get any extra commentary or context though which we expected based on other reviews and that we were booking a “guide”. Also made us stop at a touristy coffee place on the way back after we had explicitly said we didn’t want to, which I did not appreciate.
