After being picked up from your hotel and head to Setumbu Hill to witness the breathtaking Borobudur sunrise. When the air is fresh and as the mist begins to lift, the sun will surround the volcanoes and terraced fields. After sunrise, you have the option to explore the UNESCO-listed Borobudur Temple, the single largest Buddhist structure on earth. Be the first of the day to enter the gates as they open. This is one of the world's greatest ancient monuments. Continue your tour on board a jeep to the Merapi volcano, one of the most popular volcanoes in the country. Snap your own momentous memories over the picturesque spots of the volcano. Finish the tour with a visit to one of the most beautiful Hindu temples, Prambanan. Built-in the tenth century, this is the largest temple compound dedicated to Shiva in Indonesia. See the three temples decorated with reliefs illustrating the epic of the Ramayana, dedicated to the three great Hindu divinities (Shiva, Vishnu, and Brahma) and the animals who serve them. Once your tour is finished, sit back and relax while your driver escorts you back to your accommodation.

Ipung was a wonderful guide and made us feel comfortable and at home. She had a lot of information about the sites we were visiting. We got lots of fantastic pictures, highlight was Prambanan and Borobudur for sure. We only had a two night stay in Yogyakarta, but will definitely be back!

Really nice to see the big temples and to be able to have some free time. Our driver and guide Adit was really friendly. Compliments to him for showing us around and make it a wonderful day. We advise to skip the sunrise, most of the times it’s cloudy and the borobodur is really far from the hill where you’ll watch the sunrise. Best to google it to see what you can expect before booking.

Haider was an excellent guide - very knowledgeable and prepared. He definitely went above and beyond to make our experience a good one. We had rainy weather, meaning that sunrise was a bit of a disappointment, but he made it up with a visit to another temple, and when it rained at Prambanan, he was prepared with umbrellas. We had a great day and would recommend Haider to future guests! He’s was an enjoyable guide to spend our day with.
