London: Charles Dickens' Journey Exploration Game

1. London: Charles Dickens' Journey Exploration Game

Discover London’s fascinating history and attractions through the eyes of Charles Dickens while you solve clues around the city. Learn how Dickens went from rags to riches and explore the city by playing a quest with your friends, significant other, or family. Each clue will lead you from one place to another by providing you with exact directions, so you won't need a map, GPS, or guide. Solve problems and guess the answers to unlock the secret story of each location. Receive all instructions via email after booking, then simply go to the starting point and begin the adventure. Play as a group and solve the clues together as you walk, or split into smaller groups and compete against each other. Players can also play on their own, separate from the group, and meet the group at the end of the tour.

Historic London Pubs Tour 1 - The Pub Crawl

2. Historic London Pubs Tour 1 - The Pub Crawl

A Pub Crawl, so named in the finest English tradition because in the old days and indeed not so old days, pub drinkers would stop off for a drink at as many pubs as they could until they were reduced to crawling between venues. This traditional pub walk will visit some of the finest old pubs in London.  Each one with a very different atmosphere and history but all sharing a fine offering of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks in a wonderful building. From the fringes of the East End, visit pubs in Clerkenwell and Farringdon before going to some truly historic pubs in Holborn and Lincoln’s Inn Fields. Visit 6 old pubs, all of them going back to The Great Fire of London and some even earlier, each with their own character and history to tell. Enjoy an unhurried drink in a very special and unspoiled location just as Londoners do.

Loved the game, it was a fun way to visit places we would probably never have seen otherwise. The only downside was that we played in a Sunday and so many of the places of interest were closed. That did not stop us from solving the clues however.

Captivating, we get caught up in the game and it makes us see beautiful places in London where we would never have been! We took 3 hours, but we did not see the time pass. Top !!
