Full description
Start at Punt Road Winery a friendly and welcoming award-winning winery owned by the Napoleone Family that have been Orchardists in the Yarra Valley since the 1940s. They planted their first vineyards in 1983 and have since become highly regarded for their Yarra Valley Punt Road label.
Next, continue toward Cold Stream Hills Winery founded by renowned wine writer James Halliday in 1985. Follow this with the Dominique Portet Winery, a centuries-old winemaking family. The Portet family holds possibly an unmatched record in the Australian wine industry.
Then, travel Medhurst Winery another family-owned winery that has estate grown, low cropped, handmade wines are known for its excellent varieties of export quality wines. Medhurst Winery is where we offer Lunch a delicious Shared Platter with a glass of wine. Next, visit Greenstone Winery, one of Yarra Valley's most progressive wineries with award-winning wines sold both nationally and in key markets around the world. Here, enjoy a cheese platter and complimentary wines.
Wineries visited may change depending on days traveled and when opened. Finally, head back to Melbourne along the Yarra Valley Hinterland through Warrandyte or Kangaroo Ground.
