Your tour will commence at 8:00AM, as you meet with your guide outside your Yangon accommodation. Your first sightseeing for the day will be the iconic Shwedagon Pagoda, one of the most famous in the world and certainly the main attraction of Yangon. From there you will continue to the National Museum to explore the history and culture of Myanmar. Following this, you will take lunch at a local restaurant which serves Myanmar cuisine. You will then continue to the central area of Yangon, where most colonial buildings are standing. You will walk around this area to explore the Yangon City Hall, the Independence Monument, the former High Court Buildings, and the Telegraph Office (which is also a colonial building). You will then continue to the Nanthida Jetty to see the daily commute of people from suburban areas of the city center, before taking the return ferry trip from the jetty (this walking tour will take between 45 minutes to an hour). Next, you will pay a visit to Saint Mary's Cathedral which was built in 1899. You'll then be taken to a popular spot for dinner, before finally being transferred back to your hotel.
