Take this private tour to explore the mystery of these cultural heritages from two different dynasties, the great archaeological excavation of Qin Terra Cotta Warriors and the solemn ancient Big Wild Goose Pagoda.
What to Expect
You will be picked up from your downtown hotel at 08:30. Your tour will take you to visit the most significant archaeological excavations of the 20th century, the Terracotta Warriors and Horses Museum, which boasts the title of the World's Eighth Great Wonder. The museum includes Pit 1 as the largest, Pit 2 and Pit 3 as well the exhibition hall of the chariots and horses. Here, you may see the clay soldiers and horses of distinct facial expressions and positions orderly arranged in battle formations and the famous Bronze Chariots and Horses, as well as many delicate bronze weapons, presenting a real scene of war in ancient China.
In the afternoon, continue to the Big Wild Goose Pagoda. The 64.5-meter-high (211.6 feet) pagoda was built in the Tang Dynasty (about 1,300 years ago) to house the Buddhist scriptures and statues brought back from India. Not far from the pagoda, you will then come to one of the best museums in China, Shaanxi Provincial History Museum, to gain further insight into Chinese history and culture through the large collection of historical items.
