Move on to the Big Wild Goose Pagoda which is considered as one of the Xi'an History landmarks, a Great Tang dynasty culture relics temple. Built in 652 during the Tang Dynasty by Emperor Gaozong and his empress Wu Zetian, the pagoda was originally constructed to store sacred Buddhist scriptures brought from India by the famous monk Xuanzang.
