What should I do on my first trip to Wroclaw?
If you’re visiting the beautiful town of Wroclaw, we can’t recommend their cafes enough. Poland’s cafe scene is quickly exploding, and Wroclaw, being at the center of this cafe craze, has some of the best coffee shops in the country. Do yourself a favor and visit one when you’re there!
We’re particularly big fans of Vinyl Cafe, Nanan, and Gniazdo. They’ve got great atmosphere, and serve some delicious, premium coffee.
What are some hidden gems to see in Wroclaw?
The Military Museum in Wroclaw is a treasure trove of history about Poland’s tumultuous past. If you’re deeply passionate about history and the story of this country, then the Military Museum is the place for you!
Wroclaw also has some excellent Food & Vodka Culture tours that are great activities for tourists who aren’t quite sure what to do with their time. Foodies will love traveling around Wroclaw and sampling the delicious local cuisine of the country.
How much time should I spend in Wroclaw?
Like most other Polish towns, it’s easy to spend just a single day in Wroclaw. 2 - 3 days is our recommendation, as you’ll have more than enough time to immerse yourself in the town and see all there is to see.

Since most dinner’s in Poland start with soup, it’s only right for us to mention Zurek - a typical Polish soup that’s different for every region. Most Zurek will contain Polish sausage, pork, bacon, as well as various vegetables, potatoes, and eggs. It’s sometimes serviced in a bread bowl.

The public transport system - aptly named the Wroclaw Tram System - in Wroclaw is simple to use and is fairly extensive. There are 120 bus lines and 23 tram lines for you to take advantage of, though if you’re in the Old Town, you’ll rarely need these facilities to get around.
What are the best months to visit Wroclaw?
As with most other destinations in Poland, visiting Wroclaw during the Polish summer (which takes place from June to September) is your best bet - the weather is warm, mild, and sunny without being too sweltering. Though experiencing a white winter in Wroclaw is certainly a magical experience.
