Spend a full day exploring everything that the Gibraltar Nature Reserve has to offer, including hiking trails, viewpoints, and historical exhibitions. With a list of 17 attractions to choose from, there's plenty to keep you entertained for the day. Start at the Jews' Gate and pass the Pillars of Hercules before climbing the Mediterranean Steps to the southern end of the reserve. Keep going towards O'Hara's Battery at 419 meters above sea level, the highest point of the Rock. Visit the Apes Den, one of Gibraltar's most iconic attractions, and see the Barbary macaque that call the park home. These apes are native to North Africa and are a main feature of the Upper Rock Nature Reserve For the more adventurous at heart, the Windsor Suspension Bridge is also a great option. The bridge spans 70 meters and hangs over a deep ravine. Those brave enough to cross it will be rewarded with wonderful views.
