After pickup from your accommodation in Windhoek, set off first on the city tour. Look forward to seeing places like the Houses of Parliament-National Assembly, Parliament Gardens, the old railway station, the Namibia Craft Center, Christuskirche (Christ Church), and Alte Feste (Old Fort). Make a stop at the old cemetery in Hochland Park, a highlight for history enthusiasts, too. From the city center, head to the Katutura Township to catch a glimpse of life in Windhoek's largest suburb. Boasting people from a number of different cultural groups, Katutura is the place to be if you want to mix with the lively and varied cultures of Namibia. Depart from Windhoek and stop briefly at Otjiwarongo to enjoy a light lunch before entering Etosha National Park through the Anderson Gate. Enjoy a game drive across the park visiting waterholes and looking for predators as well as zebra, giraffe, elephants, and rhino. Arrive at your accommodation just before sunset. The accommodation is located inside Etosha National Park and has a floodlit waterhole next to the camp. Rise for a pre-sunrise snack with tea/coffee and then game drive until mid morning when you return to camp for breakfast before heading out for another game drive. Head back to Halali for a picnic lunch. After lunch, you will visit the mighty Etosha Pan (the largest salt pan in Namibia) before game driving across the park in your quest to find the big 4.
