What to Expect
This half-day tour is the ideal way to explore the favorite places associated with Beatrix Potter. From Beatrix Potter's splendid Hill Top Farm to the renowned beauty spot of Tarn Hows, the afternoon tour is not to be missed.

The first part of your journey is on Lake Windermere, making your way North on a lake cruise towards the Lakeland Fells. Visit Beatrix Potter’s incredible Hill Top Farm where she wrote many of her famous children's stories in the little 17th-Century stone house. You will have the opportunity to go into the shop, explore her garden, and visit the house (not on Fridays).

After exploring Miss Potter’s extraordinary house, you will continue to the medieval village of Hawkshead, where you will have some time to explore the fascinating village. You will drive through the renowned beauty spot of Tarn Hows, before descending back to Windermere and Bowness.
