Two completely different places, but both are definitely worth a visit. You can't walk through a concentration camp with tears in your eyes and think how bad a person can be. The salt mine was amazing: a church, tracks, lakes, a restaurant and 300 km of corridors. Absolutely amazing place.

Both visits and the route were a great experience. Included food is very basic, but you have a long pause in the Middle with many affordable and good food to choose from if you want. Expect to walk a lot in Auschwitz (under the sun if in summer) and also in the mine (but mostly down and in fresh air :))

Well arranged. Picked up on time with a luxury small bus, good air conditioning and Radek the tour guide led everything in the right direction. Great driver who drove carefully but confidently. Very good explanation from our English speaking guide Mickael in Auschwitz and Birkenau. Serene and clear. Everything was well arranged at the salt mines, a lady who was very proud of her work and the salt mine. A very successful day and a nice lunch.
