Full description
Discover Whitehorse, Yukon's capital and a lovely city surrounded by endless mountains. Embark on four-day adventure to Whitehorse and experience the magical northern lights at the most idyllic viewing location, the Aurora Center. Each evening, your guide will pick you up to travel outside of the city lights. Once there, hang out beside a cozy wood stove or a roaring campfire as the sky erupts in vibrant blues and greens.  • Day one: Arrival in Whitehorse and northern lights viewing Upon arrival in Whitehorse, you'll be met at the airport for a transfer to your hotel within the city. Get settled in and then picked up later in the evening for your first trip to Aurora Center, where you'll begin seeking the northern lights. At the end of the day, transfer back to your hotel in Whitehorse. • Day two: Morning Whitehorse city tour, free afternoon, and northern lights viewing In the late morning, discover the sights of Whitehorse on a city tour with spirit. Visit the SS Klondike National Historic Site, one of the last great steamboats of the Yukon River System until the 1950s. Visit the Old Log Church, the oldest building in Whitehorse, and the Log Cabin Skyscraper, a three-story tower made completely of logs. Finish the tour by taking a stroll down Main Street, perfect for shopping and taking advantage of the many cafes and galleries. The rest of the afternoon is free time to spend as you wish. Later in the evening, back at your hotel, meet your guide and transfer to Aurora Center for another opportunity to see the northern lights. Relax in sheltered comfort or under the starry sky beside a warm fire. Return to Whitehorse for an overnight.  • Day three: Choose-your-own daytime adventure and northern lights viewing  Take the day for yourself. Choose to go on a guided adventure to Kluane National Park, where you can take in stunning vistas of White Pass, or simply relax in Whitehorse. Toward the end of the day, meet your guide once more at your hotel. Return to the Aurora Center for a final chance to bask in the beautiful wonder of the northern lights. At the end of the night, return for your last overnight in Whitehorse. • Day four: Departure Check out of the hotel and transfer back to the airport.
