This 10.5-hour tour is the best way to explore the road to the 2010 Winter Olympics and the resort town of Whistler. You will begin the tour from Vancouver and travel to Whistler through the "Sea-to-Sky Highway." On the way, take a quick walk and stretch your legs to enjoy the powerful spray from third highest waterfall in British Columbia, Shannon Falls. Pass by 7,000-foot high mountains, and the second largest granite monolith in the world. Stop by the Sea to Sky Gondola. Rise 2800 feet above sea level for sweeping views of the Howe Sound fjord, luscious coastal forest, and surrounding mountains, test your fears with the Sky Pilot Suspension Bridge. My partner and I booked a day-tour to Whistler and Shannon falls from Vancouver city. Our guide was Greg. He was a wealth of information and kept us engaged throughout the journey. He also made a small detour at our request to take us to the location where the Netflix show Virgin River was shot. All in all, great value for money especially if it’s your first time to BC.

The whole tour was a such great experience! Our tour guide, Brent, was on time for the pick up and available to answer our questions all the time. Whistler is an amazing village, the locals are friendly and helpful. The rocky mountains is something breathtaking! Thank you for the trip, guys!

Our driver, Brent arrived to the hotel for pick up on time and from there we headed north to Whistler with a stop in Squamish for facilities and a quick scenic photo op (nice touch.) 2 1/2 hours later we arrived on a beautiful day, the sun was out and it wasn’t too cold (34F.) Brent was informative and gave clear instructions, and even made a great suggestion to opt for the Blackcomb Gondola as there were less wait times. (This was indeed true.) I’m not a skier but enjoyed the ride up and down. The views from the top were wonderful. The Village was beautiful with plenty of dining options and souvenir shops. I was unsure about Whistler at first as snow sports are not my thing but there’s plenty to do whether you’re 3 or 76.
