I booked the tour last minute and I am really glad I did! Grant, our guide was super knowledgeable about everything LotR and much more. He told us about the city, we saw the original forest and he explained some very interesting things and we visited many filming locations with a lot of opportunities to take pictures. Of course, the Weta workshop visit was also a highlight, super cool and inspiring! One of my favourite day tours I've done this trip!

It was a tremendously fun day out with some great locations and so much interesting information from our guide. about the films, the creators and New Zealand itself. Would definitely recommend.

Amazing day Knowledgeable guide who really knows what he is talking about with loads of stories from the actual set. Good transport, great lunch, and loads to see and listen to ! I recommend

Guide was awesome, all members of the group were made to feel welcome and part of the magic. Well worth doing. Wish we had done this years ago.
