The Abbey was beautiful, but you are best to get there early. We had a 1pm time entry and spent 1 hr queuing before we got inside. It was so crowded inside you couldn’t stop and read everything. Be prepared for a long wait. Didn’t understand why those with pre purchased tickets had to line up the same as those purchasing then.

Westminster Abby was a great experience. I had purchased a Skip The Line Ticket and there was no such thing. The line was very long. It was extremely hot. Once inside though it was a really good experience. The Abby is well worth the visit. Beautiful inside and much history. Well worth the price!

Take the self guided audio visual tour, pick up your device and headphones at the entrance and off you go. The audio visual devise is easy to use and was very interactive, clearly explaining the history of the Abbey and in particular the areas of specific interest to you. The tour has a 30 minute option for those with little time, plus 2 alternative tour options for those with more time to explore this wonderful place.
