Drive along the south coast to the Athenian Riviera on a trip from Athens to Cape Sounio and the Temple of Poseidon. Admire views of the temple and watch the sunset from Cape Sounion. Learn about the sights you see with an audio guide available in six languages. Hop on board an air-conditioned bus and head to the Sounion. You’ll be dazzled by the famous landscape that surrounds the promontory of the Sounion. In the times of the ancient Greeks, this site was revered as sacred ground dedicated to the gods Poseidon and Athena. Next, marvel at the Temple of Poseidon perched upon the cliff’s edge 70 meters above the sea (entry tickets not included). Walk the blessed earth of the Sounion, one of the places sung about it in Homer’s Odyssey, and stand on the same cliff where it is said King Aegeus threw himself off. The excursions of SP Cruises to Symi start from the Mandraki Harbour of Rhodes every day at 10:00 in the morning. After about two hours we arrive at the beach of Agios Georgios, where we stay for an hour for diving and swimming in its clear blue waters. From there, we depart at 13:00 for Gialos, the main port of Symi, where you will have plenty of time to explore the quaint town and enjoy your lunch at one of its wonderful restaurants (lunch is not included in your cruise fare). Next, stop by the famous White Beach, where the boat will drop you off for about an hour of swimming and relaxing. Afterwards, travel to the western part of the island, up into the mountains to the traditional villages of the island. Visit Maries, Loucha, and Exo Hora. Be fascinated by the oldest olive tree, which is more than 2,000 years old. To finish this unforgettable day, sit back and relax as you head back to your accommodation.

After a convenient pickup from your hotel, head to the small port of Agios Sostis on the southern shores of Zakynthos. There is a small extra charge of 5€ if you want to enter the island. Next, board the glass-bottom boat and participate in some turtlespotting of these unique creatures Careta Careta, without disturbing them of course, along the way to Marathonisi, an exotic, green, and coincidentally turtle-shaped island. Relax with an hour of swim or snorkeling in the pristine beach with soft sand and warm waters, protected by National Marine Park. See where the endangered loggerhead sea turtles nest. Hop on the boat again towards the Keri Caves, carved by time, tides, and wind. Follow the coastline, admiring the white beaches, rock arches, forested hills, and enormous limestone cliffs that fall into the sea. Pass through the famous rock arch, Kamara. Stop for a 20-minute swim just outside the entrance to a vast cave. Climb back on board and head to the port where the minibus waits for you to lead you to the final stop at the award-winning Aristeon ecological olive oil press museum in Lithakia. Explore the history of olive oil making on the island with experts and taste-free local olives and traditional bread with different flavored extra virgin olive oils (most likely lemon, orange, and garlic). Full of images and new experiences you will be dropped off at your accommodation.

Departure from harbour Nidri at 09.15 Set sail on a full-day boat cruise to explore Greek islands and beaches with plenty of stops to swim in the crystal-clear Ionian sea.
