We are lucky to have a guide all to ourselves (2 people) who gave us all the time we needed to discover everything. Helen our guide shared her knowledge of the region with us and showed us many very nice places. The kiwi nursery and the ice cream parlor are magnificent and full of little breaks in different places which allowed us to spend a very enriching day and shared with pleasure with Helen who has a smile and joy of life. We recommend this excursion.

An excellent guide: friendly, knowledgeable and able to articulate and explain the issues being addressed to ensure the protection and preservation of New Zealand’s unique native animals. We also loved learning about the tuatara- and then we got to meet one up close! An outstanding experience.

Watching the 2 kiwi and learning more about them. Our guide Kath was amazing! The tuatara were a bonus. Learned so much!

Excellent backstage tour and information. Very impressive.
