The concert is amazing. You need to leave your coats and bags to the cloak room first then get your tickets at the ticketing office. Ensure to wear semi or formal attire. It's quite an elegant place. They don't have allocated seats but if you buy category A (also called deluxe) tickets for example, they have designated rows for each ticket types. It's first come, first serve seatings for the designated type of tickets.

The whole experience was amazing! Watching an opera in Vienna is a must whilst you’re in the city. Music was amazing! Although I must admit, for us who are vertically challenged, it’s hard to see even if you’ve paid the middle seats. I recommend increase the height of the stage. Other than that, highlight of the Viennese trip!

    Good experience, small orchestra group

Great mix of orchestra, dance and opera singing, really enjoyed it. Lasted just over an hour with 25 mins break in between, starting at 8.30 pm. The orchestra group was really small, and the seats are all on the same level. Hardly any chairs in the bar area at the orangery which was annoying, as we had been on our feet all day. Overall, great experience for us. Even though the orangery was beautiful, the experience is not the same experience as a big concert hall. Also, it is not connected to the Schoenbrunn palace in any way.
