The "Donatello" and "Van Eyk" exhibitions were superbly designed. There is nothing to complain about. I live in St. Veit ad / Glan. So much historical art that you can't take it all in in a day - not without a coffee and apfelstrudel break upstairs in the restaurant! The exhibition seems to go for ever especially if you look at everything that is in there - from about 400AD to the 19th century. Give yourself at least a half day and more if you want to see the art exhibiton upstairs! Beautiful exhibition and building.

There is also an excellent cafe on the first floor,
