Once you’re feeling comfortable, saddle up for a fun bike tour of Wellington, and follow your guide along the Wellington Waterfront. Glide along the seafront, passing the lively port and harbor, and the beaches of Oriental Bay. Continue along the Miramar Peninsula and leave the bustle of the city behind as you cycle along the scenic coast. Pause along the way at a local café, where you’ll have the chance to enjoy a complimentary tea or coffee, and purchase sandwiches and cakes at your own expense. Afterward, loop back towards the city. The route is approximately 25 km (15 mile). The tour usually takes 3 - 3.5 hours, but leave 4 hours for this activity in case of any delays along the route.

Be picked up from your accommodation at 9:30 am.  Head to the top of Mt Victoria for superb views of the city and the harbor. Visit Peter Jackson’s Weta Cave where you will see their mini museum and shop as well as have time for photos of ome of the props on display. Savour lunch by the sea at the renowned Chocolate Fish Cafe, a casual and quirky outpost that serves seafood sandwiches, burgers and salads.  After lunch, continue along the rugged coastline around to Red Rocks. Head off-road to see the seal colony (seasonal). Return to the city for a cable car ride, then walk through the picturesque Botanical Gardens to the Lady Norwood rose gardens. Visit the iconic Beehive, Parliament buildings, and Wellington's oldest church. Finish your day at Wright Hill, a historic military site with views over the greater Wellington region. Tour concludes with drop off back to your accommodation around 4:30 pm.

Enjoy a 5 hour return guided tour over the spectacular Remutaka Ranges to the Wairarapa region, home of world class culinary producers. Enjoy a stop at C'est Cheese Artisan Cheese and Deli where the tour will include a tasting platter of locally made cheeses. Continue up State Highway 2 to Greytown for a tasting of some of chocolatier Murray Langham's amazing chocolate range at Schoc Chocolates. Our third stop is in the world class wine region of Martinborough famous for it's pinot noir. Enjoy a tasting flight at one of the finest local wineries. The final stop is at the Martinborough Memorial Square in the centre of town and allows for guests to tailor the tour for their own tastes. Guests may choose one final tasting stop from Olivo extra virgin and infused olive oils, Martinborough craft brewery paddles, a local vineyard or cafe lunch, The Martinborough Sweet Shop or the Wine Bank. This final stop is seasonal, subject to availability and at the guests expense. he tour then returns to Wellington via the Remutakas and State Highway 2 for a 3:00pm drop off.

Booked this trip came in from a cruise ship for the day. They met us at the cruise port and showed us some amazing stops to show the scenery from Mt Victoria lookout, drove along all the coast line had lunch at this amazing chocolate fish cafe along the beach side visited Weta Cave Shop. Our tour guide Aaron was a very informative friendly guide. Would definitely recommend this trip for cruise ship passengers.

We were picked up on time by Steve and the drive was broken up with some stops at points of interest. We loved Margrain Vinyard and enjoyed the tasting and information. Moy Hall was fantastic for lunch and I was glad that we could get in to Palliser Estate.

Great tour. Really good fun. Lots of interesting facts and stories. Nice ride around the coast of Wellington.
