What people are saying about Wellington

This was absolutely fantastic! The history regarding how Weta has grown and developed over the years was fascinating. The workshop procedures were amazing and the skills required are unbelievable. The items in the Weta Cave were good too. Our guide recommended we see the models they've made for the Gallipoli display at the museum so we went there too and the details in the models had a confronting effect on us. Our guide, Mark, had an interesting history as well and was very knowledgeable.

The tour was amazing my sister and i enjoyed every second! very well informed and entertaining guides! we only did the half day tour and really regretted we didn’t do the entire day but our second guide was so lovely and let us stop off at the other side of the workshop to grab photos and look inside, they also told us more about Wellington and some behind the scenes info of LOTRs. would do again !

Really interesting tour and guide was so enthusiastic. Even if you are not a massive’Lord of the Rings’ fan, I would really recommend. Xx
