Full description
Take a 1-hour beginner surfing lesson in the shallow waters of Weligama Beach. Receive a full explanation of the equipment and surf safety, including how to get on and off of the board with control. Before heading into the water you will get an in depth introduction to the technique of how to pop up. Practise on the sand and your instructor will give you consistent feedback and advice. Then head into the water where you will be assisted to catch your first ever wave. Your instructor will guide you and give helpful instruction to ensure you learn and develop the correct technique. Choose a private or a small group lesson.

    We quickly learned how to stand on the board and the training was customized. My trainer was very responsive to me and gave me lots of great tips, which I was able to implement immediately :) Despite group booking, we received 1: 1 care!
