Full description
Wind along lakeside roads that weave around craggy peaks. See the saturated strata in colorful canyons and get up-close looks at herds of bison in open grasslands. Dive into the rugged landscapes around Waterton Lakes National Park on this full-day excursion. Your first stop is the Prince Wales Hotel. This establishment is a historic Canadian icon and the park’s most recognized landmark. Spend about 30-minutes at the Prince Wales Hotel. After you visit the Prince Wales Hotel, you’ll head to Waterton Town. Waterton Town is a small and vibrant town located on the lake. Explore the quaint town for about 60-minutes before heading to your next stop, Cameron Falls. Cameron Falls is a true highlight of the Waterton visit, with its clear cascading mountain water rushing over the Cambrian rock. Spend about 15-minutes in the mist that the waterfall produces before you visit Red Rock Canyon. Stop for about 30-minutes at Red Rock Canyon. Red Rock Canyon is known for its layers of red and green colored minerals that offer a bright contrast to the lush surroundings. Your last stop is Okotoks Big Rock. The Okotoks Big Rock is about 8km west of the town of Okotoks and was formed thousands of years ago when it dislodged from a glacier. Return to Calgary at around 7:30 PM.

Great Tour!

November 20, 2021

Wonderful day tour! The sightseeing around the national park, was very beautiful. Great tour guide, and tour company.

Your tour guide hit up the entire bus for ten dollars mandatory "gratuity". If you need to raise your prices, the do so. Otherwise do not play these games. This is not cool.
