Joe was the best tour guide. He looked out for both my kids (ages 8 and 11), was super knowledgeable, and had a wealth of fun tidbits about all the sights. Would definitely recommend to anyone, especially families if your children could bike that distance.

Explore all DC landmarks around this area with bicycle is probably the most time efficient and enjoyable way. I have learn historical facts and details that I would not know before had I not join this bike tour. wonderful bike ride thanks to our guide navigation with a balance not too fast pacing. My only complaint would be the selection of bicycle. Some of us got the step-through frame and some got step-over frame. I feel like if the goal is to explore the view and not for sport, it should all be step-through frame for comfort looks around parks and monument.

Sam was an excellent guide, providing biking tips for the city and lots of great information at each stop. In three hours, we saw all the major monuments and memorials, and it did not feel rushed. At one point, my bike got a flat tire, and within 10 minutes a new bike was delivered. I did buy the trip insurance for $2.99, so I didn’t have to pay anything. There was a group of rowdy teenage boys on our tour and Sam handled it with patience and grace. Wish their parents would’ve stepped in more to reign them in. Overall this tour was an excellent experience and I would do it again!
