Full description
Start off this adventurous, belly filling day by meeting at the intersection of 28th and Pennsylvania Avenue NW, across the Four Seasons Hotel on a small road island with benches and bikes. Before you start, everyone will introduce themselves and get to know each other a little more so you can all be comfortable with each other. This experience should be as comfortable for you in every possible way.

At 14:00, set off on foot walking a total of about 1.5 miles (2.5 kilometers) with your guide at a comfortable pace. You will start to see some historical sites on your way to the first eatery. You'll stop about every 20 minutes to visit a local eatery. You may stand or sit, depending upon the stop, while indulging in a total of four to five tantalizing food samples and one wine or spritz pairing. One of the first stops will be a local deli. When you get there, you will be served a sample of one of the foods and get to familiarize yourself with the sample.

After you are done with that, you will head off to the next stop, International Spice and Olive Oil. At this destination, you will be able to taste some of the many different oils that will be provided. After this, you will be heading to the Italian Cafe and Grocery Store. Here, you will be able to have either a non-alcoholic or alcoholic drink with a tasty dish. The environment is comfortable and welcoming. To settle off the day, now it is time for dessert. Everyone will head down to the Dog Tag Bakery and be served delicious cookies. For every ticket sold, a portion of the money will be donated to a local charity so the less fortunate may be fed.
