Tours begin and end at 1400 Constitution Ave NW, on the National Mall side entrance, Washington, DC 20001 The museum has two entrances, we are on the "mall side", off of Madison Drive NW between 12th and 14th Streets. From the Smithsonian Metro Station (Orange/Blue): Follow signs for the National Mall or the Smithsonian. (Do not follow any signs that mention Independence Ave). At the top of the escalator, turn left and walk across the grassy area. You will see the National Museum of American History ahead and to your left. From the Federal Triangle Metro Station (Orange/Blue): Exit the station and ride to the top of the second escalator, Once there, make a U-Turn and walk towards the street, this is 12th street. Turn right onto 12th Street NW. Cross at the next light, Constitution Avenue, and walk up the hill. From the National Mall or by Taxi: Search for the Smithsonian National Museum of American History. We are located just outside the Madison Drive entrance.
