Aside from the bus shifting and loading snafu because one of the guides had an accident the night bus tour was a great outing. The bus was clean and comfortable. Only issue was the art advertisement on the outside of the bus that made it a bit challenging to see out through the windows. We were shown the majority of the city’s sights with interesting information about each. We had stops where we were able to get off the bus, explore the site, and take photos. Water was supplied, restroom stops, and even ponchos when the rain came in. In three hours we saw so much without excessive walking and having to look for parking. Definitely worth the money.

Helpful?

The website indicated we were to be in an open air bus. That was not the case. It was a different price. However, the confirmation indicated open air. I showed it to the tour operators and they said it was a "mistake" on their website. These types of tours should only take place in an open air trolley so that you can see everything. Also, our guide was not factual (we googled stuff we thought was probably inaccurate) and over the top. Let the monuments and buildings speak for themselves.

Christopher was very knowledgeable and funny and personally took us around some of the war memorials. He helped one of travelers find her family member at the Vietnam memorial, it was very touching. He also used humor when one of the ladies on our bus got on the wrong bus! He was great and he dropped us near us near the metro station at the end of the tour so we could easily get back to our B&B. Highly recommend!
