What People Are Saying About Washington, DC
we were amazed at how much we saw and the places that we went while on this tour. We took the red, blue and yellow tours.
Friendly helpful staff made it easy to see the things we wanted to see without wasting time searching for these places on our own. The buses stop infront of or very close by all the sites. Made our Washinton visit easy. Thank you
The tour was great. There are four different routes, and several places that connect to the other routes. Buses were very crowded when we went, so you could not always get to the top of the bus. If below, you cannot see much at all. It would have been nice if they provide times of last pick-up at each spot. We didn't get to the blue line, which we had planned, but just missed the last pick-up at one of the connections. Our tickets came with a coupon for free admission to the wax museum, which was a bonus. Be careful with booking. There are two "tours", at different prices, but both are identical. Look for the less expensive ticket.
Booked online through City Sightseeing. Tried for 2 days (unsuccessfully) to contact them at phone number on my confirmation to check on time bus would be at our hotel. Message constantly that mailbox was full and no further messages could be taken. Finally emailed to address on same receipt- reply received the next day from a person in London who of course knew nothing about the DC tour. Turns out City Sightseeing apparently became part of BigBus tours, who run a great tour. but nowhere on our receipt did it mention that!
