This small-group tour is dedicated to customers who want to discover Warsaw in a more intimate setting. It will see you sharing transport and attractions with others, but with vehicles containing a capacity of no more than 8 passengers (no buses). The Old Town consists of the city square (surrounded by characteristic tenements), and a centrally placed fountain with a sculpture of a siren, the city symbol. Other elements of the Old Town are the Castle Square (with the Royal Castle next to it), and the Sigismund’s Column. Not far from the Old Town one can also find Pilsudski Square, and the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. A series of streets called the Royal Route begins from the Old Town. The Royal Route is the most prominent artery of the city, connecting two former royal residences. There are also numerous atmospheric cafes, restaurants and art galleries in the Old Town. You will see Warsaw Old Town including: - Streets of the Old Town - Barbican and defensive walls - Old Town Market Square - Castle Square - Royal Route - Royal Castle (tour outside) You will see the Warsaw Uprising Museum including: - You are stuck with a unique wall in which the heart of Varsovians from 1944 beats - the original weapons, clothes, bands are worn by insurgents, and field telephones and you will get to know the memories of these brave people – all with the original or with the help of multimedia - go through a short course in the history of World War II - a replica of the Liberator aircraft, which provided assistance to the insurgents in the city - a rare 3D movie “City of Ruins” – shows Warsaw devastated after WWII - You will find out why the whole of Warsaw stops for 1 minute, every year – exactly on 1 August at 5:00 pm 1. Our coordinator in Krakow picks you up from your hotel/apartment and takes you to Krakow Train Central Station. 2. We have bought 2-class tickets for the express train from Krakow to Warsaw. Our coordinator places you in the appropriate train car and seat. 3. You are in Warsaw about 2.5 hours later – your personal coordinator/guide is waiting for you on the platform. We monitor your train through the application, so even if there is a delay, we will wait for you. 4. We pick you up directly from the platform at the station. You don’t have to walk anywhere, we find you (e.g. we know your wagon number and seat beforehand). 5. You are visiting Warsaw with us. We show you the most famous locations and those that are important in the heart of every citizen of Warsaw. 6. Tour takes place partly by car and partly by foot. We anticipate lunchtime. 7. After the Tour, the coordinator in Warsaw places you on the appropriate train to Krakow. 8. In Krakow, our host in Krakow picks you up from the train platform and brings you to your hotel.
