Very insightful tour, both fun and engaging. You can opt for the half tour (2 to 2 1/2 hours) or full tour ( 5 hours). We took the audio guide and they have many languages to choose from. Lots of information of the livelihood before and after holocaust. Highly recommend

Beautiful museum that gives the full history of Jews in Poland. You need at least 3-4 hours to do it justice.

The museum was such a great experience. Very multimedia, informative, and comprehensible. One can spend an entire day inside and not get tired or bored. (Also, audio guide gives a very clear and concise overlook to each historical period.) I went in with the expectation to learn mainly about the Holocaust, but ended up finding the medieval to industrialization periods extremely interesting. Learned a lot about Jewish history in Poland as immigrants/minority group, about their community autonomy, about how their immigrants' experiences are shaped by the main historical events in Poland, and about Polish immigration and religious policies and urbanization process. The discussions on the many different views regarding Jewish modernization while maintaining identity during the industrialization periods, and the political parties developed consequentially, was very thought provoking.
