This is a museum that is highly recommended in every guidebook, and for good reason. We booked weeks before so as not to be disappointed, but it was not necessary- it is huge and spacious. When we arrived I expected a small exhibit since it is on one floor. but we ended up spending 7 hours there,, possibly because we are Jewish so it is our history, but it is so well- done and immersive it is a joy for everyone to learn about the 1000 years of Jewish history in Poland. It is not a Holocaust museum per se. It is meant to educate about the living experience of the Jewish people. The terror is one out of 8 sections of the museum plus the special exhibition of the ghetto fighters which is optional. Highly recommend this museum. Also since you’ll stay a long time, the food offered in the cafeteria is delicious at a great price

a unique experience traveling back 1000 years ago to discover jewish journey from the first begining of their arrival in Poland till the mordern days. The museum is very modern with well made ilustration that brings you the feeling of beeing there , in those times with the jewish daily life.
