You MUST hear Chopin played by a great pianist if you visit Warsaw. And we did. My brother visited me for the holidays and we saw a lot of historical sites and museums and tried as many Polish dishes as possible. But the highlight of the trip was hearing Chopin being played by a pianist like Katarzyna Glensk. She played beautifully (so soothing and yet passionate) and she met with audience members afterward. Very gracious and very talented.

A bit difficult to find location so allow enough time. The room acoustically good and a small intimate venue where the hands of the pianist lit and visible quite beautiful to watch the movement of his hands on the keyboard of the grand piano. Expert renditions of familiar Chopin pieces played with skill. A good welcome enhanced by a bit of Polish honey mead drink in the intermission. Uplifting experience very enjoyable short concert evening. Recommended.

Highly recommended. This is a beautiful way to spend an evening in Warsaw. The host was warm, welcoming and softly spoken. He is a real gentleman. The performance was wonderful. The setting, perfect. Warm, comfortable, well-organised, and very cosy. For those wishing to dip their toes in to try Chopin's music, this is ideal. One hour was perfect. The interval was short, well-organised and a refreshing drink of mead, or pressed juice was provided. I recommend this event highly, and plan to attend again at a later stage.
