Travel back in time and see how people in the 19th Century once lived in this region - discovering the contrast between the former aristocracy and rural population. Visit a beautiful palace that belonged to the wealthy Polish elite with its delightful gardens. Then, see a modest Polish village at an open-air museum about rural life. During this tour you will visit Łowicz Ethnographic Park in Maurzyce. Here you can admire the wooden architecture of over 30 traditional buildings and houses with authentic furnished interiors. My partner and I wanted a break form Warsaw, so this trip to the country was a gentle and pleasant change which left us feeling relaxed and refreshed. A varied and interesting itinerary with the knowledgable and un phased guide Martin. He was knowledgable, efficient and thoughtful, and at the same time comfortable to be around with. An enjoyable day thank you.

Martin brought a deep understanding of history together with wonderful warmth and humour to increase our connection with the villages, forest and sanctuaries to the west of Warsaw. It was very flexible as a tour and Martin concentrated in our interests. He was a great host.
