Full description

Enjoy a full-day private tour to the Polish seaside destinations of Gdansk and Sopot. Be picked up from your hotel or residence by your guide and depart from Warsaw at around 07:00 AM by express train to Gdansk. Upon arrival, take the opportunity to explore the old harbour, including the famous Crane Gate. See other notable local landmarks including the Neptune Fountain, Artus Court, the Town Hall, the Great Arsenal, the Millennium Tree, St. Mary's Church with its astronomical clock, and many other beautiful sights of the city. You'll also be able to walk along Mariacka Street, famous for its charming terraces full of amber jewellery. After exploring Gdansk, journey onwards by car to Sopot, the smallest town of the tri-city metropolis. Despite having a population of only 40,000, over 2 million tourists visit every year. See the bustling Monciak Boulevard, wander amongst the Art Nouveau villas, and see the great attraction of Sopot - the famous 500 meter wooden pier. Return to Warsaw from Gdansk by train, arriving back in the Polish capital at 10:00 PM

We had a wonderful day with Michal. He was most accommodating and considerate to our needs with what we wanted to see to the amount of walking we did. We were impressed with his knowledge of the history of Poland and has a presentation book with maps and pictures of what and how things were before WWII and since the war. It helped us understand better what Poland really went through. Thank goodness the people of Poland are resilient! Michal showed us how proud he is of the city and people of Gdansk. Still rebuilding from the damage from the war 85 years later. Because of Michal and the knowledge he shared with us makes us want to visit Gdansk someday! Thank you Michal for a wonderful tour!
