Unforgettable Experience Where the Dunes Meet the Ocean – Sandwich Bay, Namibia We had an incredible adventure at Sandwich Bay, where the towering desert dunes meet the Atlantic Ocean in a truly breathtaking setting. Our guide picked us up directly from the hotel in a 4x4 Jeep and took us on an exciting ride up and down the dunes – a perfect mix of adrenaline and stunning views. We even had the chance to try sandboarding, which was so much fun! Along the way, we spotted pelicans, flamingos, an antelope, and – with a bit of luck – even a coyote, which made the day even more memorable. We passed by some salt flats, adding a unique touch to the scenery, and enjoyed a simple picnic-style lunch in the dunes, surrounded by the peaceful beauty of the desert.
