The BEST Things to Do in Walvis Bay - Top Activities in 2024

We had a great luxury tour with our German guide “Ernst”. This was so fun and educational. Ernst had a very humorous character that we really enjoyed. There was plenty of delicious food and no one went home hungry. Great fresh oysters and other seafood, prosecco, coffee and namibian coffee ;-) (sherry). Boat staff was super friendly and the catamaran was spacious. We saw pelicans and seals (those are safe spots, even already in the harbour ob the piers before you leave), dolphins and whales (those were in the distance however). We were very lucky with the weather as it was a blue sky, zero clouds and not too cold due to the sun. This was however the only day in the 6 days we spent at the coast that was sunny. All the other days were foggy and cloudy. Honestly if it wasn’t for the great weather I wouldn’t have enjoyed. The whales and dolphins are far in the distance if you are lucky to even see some at all (we were lucky that day according to our guide).

we were not really lucky with the weather.it was foggy and misty, but still beautiful. the only thing to be improved is time management. we were supposed to depart at 8.30 but made it at 9 only.not sure what caused the delay, but me personally was at the meeting point 30 min ahead of time (its advised to arrive in advance), means I had to wait for the whole hour.And this delay affected the time at the locations we stopped at.it was super fast.and at the main location we roughly had 10 min.so no time to really enjoy it.just pictures in the turbo mode.and I share this opinion with other people from this tour. other than that, its a great experience. thank you Len!

We had the tour together with Ivan and Uwe and it was one of the best days of my life. The different spots are breathtaking, it really feels unreal to be there. Uwe and Ivan are also so friendly and always make sure that you are well and that you feel comfortable. Everything was taken care of. A 100% recommendation, thank you for these wonderful experiences.

This was one of the best activities. The crew was very friendly, professional and very helpful. The refreshments were very good especially the oysters and champagne. The combination was spot on. This is a mush to experience. Thank you for the opportunity.

it was a fantastic experience. the activity is very well organized. driving up and down the dunes of the Namib desert by car is amazing. a hearty snack is also served at the end of the tour with oysters and champagne. I highly recommend the activity
