The best guided tour for sandwich harbour ! We made a late booking just the day before the tour for our group of six people, we were wondering if the guide would come early the next morning… For our greatest pleasure, Herman and Charles were indeed present. After discovering and learning about the wildlife inhabiting the lake in Walvis Bay, we set off for Sandwich Harbour. Our duo of guides was simply AMAZING! Between serious explanations about local life and subtle jokes, we were NEVER bored. We explored the wild side of the coastline and desert. Additionally, we engaged in quite a few original activities that other tourist groups were not doing. We have wonderful memories of this family activity and will never forget our guides for the day. Herman also offers to organize discovery trips across South Africa, Namibia, and Botswana. We will most likely plan a complete trip with his help in the future. Don’t hesitate—trust Herman to make your day unforgettable!
My husband and I had a wonderful day with Gérgaardt .He met us off our cruise ship at a time that suited our arrival time. He gave us good, clear information about everything. He went out of his way to make our experience of the amazing dunes in Walvis Bay superb. He stopped to find a gecko in the sand. He stopped at other animals and other places to let us get great photos. He drove expertly up and down the dunes and made it seem like a Disney ride at times. Walvis Bay is definitely something you should see and do if you are in the area. So beautiful a place and thanks to " Gerhaardt, the Great" for helping to made it a day we will always remember. PS We also had a short stop for tasty food & water provided by the tour company. Also, as usual, I write the reviews for my husband.
