    This is a great trip if you are limited on time and we loved our driver/guide. Saing that, the schedule is VERY tight. You may have a few minutes to get to the bathroom but do not count on time to get something to eat. Take food and water to last a day. The driver is limited by their license to how long they can drive. ..so if you leave at 6 am.... and return to Auckland after 7, there is no flex. Having said all that, all 3 tours were great fun and oddly different. Lots of stairs in the glow worm cave and some at Hobbiton (In case you have mobility isaues). We enjoyed the day esp since we culd sleep in the nexr.

    Hobbiton was much larger than expected and the tour did not disappoint! Tubing through the gloworms at Waitomo was a great way to see them. The cave river is definitely cold but worth it. Nothing too scary or difficult! The pick up in Royorua and drop off in Auckland was perfect for us! Anne our driver was very knowledgeable about the area even with the detours for roadworks.

    The trip was really good overall, just at the first stop (the caves) was not enough time to even spend 10 minutes in the souvenir shop. Additionally, the driver might provide more commentary while driving between the locations.

    Amazing tour guides/bus drivers, amazing places to visit and just an all round amazing thing to do. Well worth the money! Highly recommend.
