We had an amazing day! Our personal driver/guide was excellent. He communicated with us really well, we knew exactly what was coming up next. The food stops were excellent, great to try new foods. The Wadi Shab and Bimmah Sinkhole are both magnificent features of Muscat. He gave us good time to explore both these landscapes. Very impressed with the whole experience. A great day out! My wife and I had a private car which was fantastic! A long walk in the heat up to the pools made a first swim really worth it! Then not having to get into a cramped minibus after a long walk back down was really worth it. Lunch was great in a local Indian cafe was great too. Thanks for a great day out 👍

Full description

Explore the lush beauty of the Wadi Shab and the emerald waters of the Bimmah Sinkhole on this private tour. Start with pickup from your accommodation in Muscat and relax in a comfortable car on the scenic transfer along the coast to Quriyat and over a stunning plateau. Arrive at the starting point of your hike. The hike take 40 minutes to reach the destination. Admire breathtaking desert landscapes on the hike to through a canyon. Pass through terraced gardens on your way to the cool pools of the Wadi Shab. Enjoy the shade of palm trees and keep an eye out for birds and lizards along the way. Capture pictures of the stunning natural scenery. Plunge into crystal-clear waters for a swim through a narrow passageway in a cave to reach a hidden waterfall. Refuel along the way with a tasty local lunch. Continue to the Bimmah Sinkhole where you can bask in the sun at the edge of a deep crater lake that is thought to have been created by a meteor. Snap some photos or go for a second swim before making the return journey to your accommodation in Muscat.

We had a really great time visiting Wadi Shab and the Bimmah Sinkhole. While we underestimated the heat on the way to the Wadi, Yuma was a very great and helpful guide. Giving us time to stop when needed. Reaching the Wadi and swimming in the pools was an amazing and unique experience. Must visit when in Oman.
