Sri Lanka is home to several sea turtle hatcheries and conservation projects dedicated to protecting these endangered creatures. These hatcheries play a crucial role in ensuring the survival of sea turtles by protecting their nests, incubating their eggs, and releasing the hatchlings into the ocean under controlled conditions to improve their chances of survival.
