Villa Blanche in French or White Palace in English), Cape Nghinh Phong, the White Palace, and relax on Vung Tau Beach. Includes lunch and all entrance fees. See the 30-meter-high Giant Jesus statue, constructed in 1974 by the lighthouse. The statue can be reached on foot by a path that heads up the hill. Tour the White Palace, a former royal residence set on a lushly forested hillside overlooking the sea. It was built in 1909 as a retreat for French governor Paul Doumer. It later became a summer palace for Vietnamese royalty: King Thanh Thai reigning the Nguyen Dynasty. From the late 1960s to early 1970s, the building was a part-time playground for South Vietnam President Theu. Today the building services as a museum housing antiques dating centuries ago. Relax on Vung Tau Beach before driving back to Ho Chi Minh City in the afternoon.

In the afternoon, explore Vung Tau's highlights: Visit the Jesus Christ Statue - by walking up the 847 stairs and meeting the 32 meter-tall (105 feet) statue of Jesus Christ. Considered one of the tallest statues of Christ in Asia, its outstretched arms span a little over 18.4 meters. Originally started in 1972 but the construction was only completed in 1993. The adventurous are welcome to climb to the top of inside Christ' arms and enjoy the breathtaking panoramic view of Vung Tau city. Thang Tam Temple (Whale Temple) - The temple displays the bones which came to symbolize the protector deity of the coast. Now, each time a carcass of a whale washes ashore, the bones are ceremonially hauled to the mausoleum. Bach Dinh (a.k.a. Villa Blanche in French or White Palace in English) - It was built as a retreat for French Governor of Indochina Paul Doumer at the beginning of the 20th century.
