Everything about this day trip was amazing. The staff were great, sang and entertained all day and couldn’t do enough for you. The island itself is like a postcard, so unspoilt. The buffet/ bbq the team prepared for lunch was great, wide variety and plenty of food. You can snorkel, paddle, scuba dive and more when on the island too. There are a variety of drinks included whilst on the island too, which adds more value for money. Whilst on the boat, both there and back you can have drinks and they serve snacks like fruit and biscuits. Overall perfect day.

We thoroughly enjoyed our day from start to finish. The crew members and all the help were so friendly and their enthusiasm made everyone smile Traveling to and from the island in a sailboat just added to the experience. The island is truly magical, when you think of a pristine white sand beach and shades of blue green sparkling water this is it! I went scuba diving for my first time and what an experience. Among many other aquatic life there was several stingrays! Jo the instructor was a great fellow and a pleasure to get know while spending time on the island relaxing. Wish we didn’t have to leave!

Full description

Set sail by tall ship to idyllic Tivua Island from Nadi on a full-day introduction to cruising the islands of Fiji (90min cruise each way). Tivua is surrounded by 500 acres of spectacular coral reef, is a sanctuary for turtles during the nesting season, and boasts a ring of white sandy beaches.

As you sail aboard our tall ship SV Spirit of the Pacific you can sunbathe on the bowsprit, watch for dolphins playing in the waves below, and enjoy the music and entertainment on board. This historic brigantine, named after a famous 19th-century Fijian war canoe, was built for the Governor General of Fiji in 1957.

When you arrive at Tivua Island, you can swim in the tropical waters, explore the island, or simply relax on a pristine sandy beach. If you're feeling energetic, there’s a selection of water activities available, including snorkeling and canoeing. Indulge in a delicious buffet bbq lunch before sailing back to Nadi.

The ship departs daily from Port Denarau, Nadi, at 10:00 AM and return to port at 5:00 PM.

NOTE: There will be a change to the destination from 1st June 2025, visiting the exclusive Kadavu Lailai beach in the Mamanuca Islands. All inclusions and activities will remain the same.
