We booked a 2 hrs tour with Eagle company. The boat has a sunroof and offers free drinks (water, juice and wine). The boat captain was very knowledgeable about the lake, the birds, the rules for a sustained ecosystem of fishermen, tourists and the wildlife. We loved the landscape, the canals, the birds within a few meters, the water chesnuts and the swim in the lake. The captain knew when to drive slowly, to stop the engine for some minutes of perfect silence. We enjoyed the tour so much, even though 2 hrs is not enough for this amazing lake. As a birdwatcher and nature lover, I am convinced that more days at Skadar would be a perfect vacation itself.

When you enter Virpazar, pass by the Pelikan Hotel, after which you will see a row of stands. The company stand is located in front of fountain and restaurant tavern Basta (Antica).
